The intellectual work.

Your internal architecture already exists.

The work is learning to discern it and to operate from the inside-out with intention: consciously, with curiosity and certainty.

Most of us were taught to look outward to the next horizon. Find the right framework. Climb the ladder leaning against the right wall. Follow the right system. Adopt the right methodology. Take one progressive step forward, and then the next. Perhaps take a step or two backwards before moving ahead.

So many voices guiding us. At some point it starts to feel like wandering through a House of Mirrors at the carnival passing through town. Everyone seems to be showing a different reflection. And, somewhere in all that wandering, I felt as though I walked past something important. That’s when I asked, “What am I missing here? What are all these mirrors showing me?” Before the miracles became obvious, the work became learning how to let go and surrender.

We each carry a powerful internal compass that unlocks everything. The way ahead is knowing how to use that compass. That compass is our Soul. It is not broken. It is not incomplete. However, it may be tarnished, or a bit rusted, and in need of some tender loving Self-care. Yielding to the possibility, the Soul reveals how we are designed to be wired, in the unique ways we make decisions, recover from setbacks, and grow. The pieces live in the present. What’s missing is the clarity to see what’s already working, where the gaps exist, and to understanding how to align all with who we are intended to be and what we desire to build most.

We’ve all been heading in the right direction. Although, I'll admit, some things just feel wrong.

Now, it’s time to fine-tune.
